New Trailer for my short film: CIALT!
I’m excited to share a new trailer I cut to share the emotional intensity and my favorite visuals from our short film CIALT. It’s a challenging film to summarize when people ask me what it’s about, so I hope this gives a glimpse into the world of our protagonist - Kate!
Cutting a trailer is its own art form, and I can add that to another lesson learned in the process of directing and shooting my first short film. It’s hard enough to cut all of your favorite scenes down to a short film, but to cut it to under a minute was agonizing!!

Synopsis:
Writer Kate Williams and songwriter Tan Zander have shared years of creative collaboration—until Tan abruptly ends their longstanding relationship with a cold, unexplained text message. Determined to confront him, Kate travels to Madrid, seeking answers. But what she finds is more than she expected—a hidden past intertwined with her own, a long-buried secret in a mysterious wooden box.
