Fashion and Editorial Portraits In Madrid with Model - Nandi
A great model can bring so much to a photoshoot, and working with Nandi was an amazing day to experiment and explore creative ideas together. We split our day together into two parts: a creative portrait session in the studio and an outdoor editorial session at Matadero in Madrid.
Portrait Experiments In Silhouette
That obsession was how powerful a silhouette can be in a photo. I was enamored with the idea that it could be aesthetically, beautiful, but also very personal. It struck me that you could identify these individuals quickly with nothing but their silhouette if you knew them, and it really sparked the idea of storytelling within portraiture, and playing with absence, and of course, shadow, because if you know me, you know, I love a good dark shadow.
Sustainable Fashion Story In Madrid - Stills & Motion
I had an amazing time collaborating with Eco-Influencer and sustainable fashion advocate Karen Fleischmann during Madrid Fashion Week. She and stylist, Lorena Lareo, brought a series of sustainable looks from ReAwake Atelier in Zurich. Our session was a story of sustainable fashion pieces in everyday life. So we shot at the Artiem Hotel Madrid and in the immediate surrounding neighborhood including the local kiosk, playground, and recreation area. We created photos and video including a fashion film for the team.

The fun part about collaborations and personal projects is everyone feels involved in the project. Everyone has permission to step outside of their paid roles and to explore and collaborate in ways they don’t most days.
